ISLAMABAD: Federal government has decided to train more than 50,000 farmers across the country to increase pulses production.
In the case of training to increase production to the pulses, with the acquisition of technical work will also reduce the pulses import bill of one billion dollars in the country.
In addition to generating awareness regarding bio-fertilizer in the farmers under the project, 10 to 15 thousand bio-fertilizer will be distributed free of charge, which will increase 10 to 20 percent of the production annually.
According to the documents received by Express, under the plan to increase pulses production, govt has decided to train the farmers to enhance the capacity of farmers across the country, In this regard, 50,000 farmers from across the country will be provided training courses to increase pulses production so that their ability can be increased.
The total cost of pulses production project is more than Rs. 2 billion 59 crore, which aims to work for promoting pulses production in the country.
